At-Home Therapeutics: Michèle Somer

About Michèle:

Michèle Somer graduated from the 2,200-hour Massage Therapy program at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2018. She provided Massage Therapy in both a clinical and spa setting on the east coast before moving to Vancouver Island to be closer to family.

She has worked with people from all stages of life -childhood, pregnancy, late adulthood- as well as with many different conditions. Her approach to massage is one of a holistic, therapeutic nature, taking into account the condition of each individual and their health and wellness goals.

Michèle is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and participates in regular professional development. These are important commitments to maintain and develop skills, follow a code of ethics, and promote professionalism in the field of massage and natural health-promoting modalities.

Michèle is bilingual in French-English and proficient in ASL (American Sign Language). In her spare time, Michèle loves biking, doing yoga -she completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in March 2022- and going for nature walks with her husband and family.
