Cancelling an appointment 

 

Providing as much notice as possible if needing to cancel, shorten or change an appointment is greatly appreciated - please review the cancellation policy below for more information (found also on the online booking form, email booking confirmation and www.athometherapeutics.ca). 

 

Late cancellations:

If cancelling your appointment under 24 hours notice, please kindly e-transfer 50% or 100% of the appointment cost, as outlined in the policy below, to info@athometherapeutics.ca.

After sending payment, an automatic email should be received stating that the funds have been deposited.

 

Appointment costs:

  • 60min. Reflexology: $85 / 50% = $42.50
  • 60min. Therapeutic/Traditional Thai/MLD Massage, Reiki: $120 /50% = $60
  • 60min. Hot Stone Massage: $135 / 50% = $67.50
  • 75min. Therapeutic/Traditional Thai/MLD Massage, Reiki: $133 / 50% = $66.50
  • 90min. Therapeutic/Traditional Thai/MLD Massage, Reiki: $145 / 50% = $72.50
  • 90min. Hot Stone Massage: $165 / 50% = $82.50

 

Cancellation policy: 

Please kindly provide minimum 24 hours notice to cancel/shorten any existing appointment(s) - thank you!  It is understood that life can include unexpected events so please find at the end possible alternatives to appointment changes/late cancellations. 

 

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50%-100%* of the appointment cost.

 

*Not showing up for an appointment without prior notice or cancelling under 3 hours of the appointment time will result in 100% payment of the appointment cost.

 

*Keeping, but shortening an appointment time-wise, without minimum 24 hours notice will still result in 100% payment of the original appointment cost, in addition to possibly not receiving a treatment if not enough time is left for setting up/taking down and preparation for what is required to provide a mobile massage treatment.

 

*Repeated cancellation(s) under 24 hours:  Illness and emergencies are considered a part of life; please note however that after a repeated cancellation(s) under 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment cost may result, in addition to full and non-refundable payment in advance to secure/complete any desired future appointment(s). 

 

*Please notify At-Home Therapeutics as soon as possible in the case of feeling unwell and needing to cancel/re-schedule, or are unsure about your current health state to discuss if there are possible appointment/treatment modifications that could be made. 

 

Possible alternatives -when feasible- to appointment changes/late cancellations are listed below; please reach out as soon as possible if this is the case to discuss details:

  1. Please consider finding another who can take over the appointment, or receive it as a gift from you. 
  2. If the appointment was for 2 people at your location and one can’t make it, extending the treatment time of the other may be a consideration.
